Richard Perry has Cooked in some great towns like Charleston, South Carolina, New Orleans, Austin, Texas, Naples and Key West, Florida as well the Virgin Islands and the French Antilles. He holds several degrees in Culinary Arts and worked apprenticeships at the Trellis Restaurant and Colonial Williamsburg, as well as a confectionary apprenticeship under Mark Gray of the Greenbrier in West Virginia. Richard spent 12 years working as a troubleshooter opening some of the best restaurants in the Southern States. For the past 5 years he has owned Classic Caterers; working in Naples, Florida and Charleston, South Carolina and has now expanded his reach to Southwestern Virginia. “I visited Floyd County and fell in love with the area”.

Classic Caterers and Richard Perry have brought catering to a new plateau; serving the freshest innovative dishes, interpretations of classic cookery and modern presentations that will make you the envy of your guest. Like Richard said “Life is too short to throw a bad party”.

Richard has been teaching culinary arts professionally for years through apprenticeships, mentoring, and private lessons as well as several TV cooking programs.
